Wonderous Wallpaper

We recently completed a massive home renovation project and had the joy of wallpapering several rooms (the playroom is next on our list!). While reserved for the most special spaces and rooms where you want to create a wow factor, wallpaper adds color, texture, and dimension, making a guest bath or dining room into a sparkling jewel box.

My favorite wallpaper in our house is this one from Elizabeth Eakins. The paper covers the walls and ceiling in our powder room, adding so much visual interest and elegance with the repeating block print and rich green hue. It makes me smile every time I catch a glimpse!

While there are many beautiful brands, here are some of my favorites, as well as swatches of the designs that I have, and those I would love to install in our home someday. Enjoy!

Elizabeth Eakins:

Our amazing interior decorator introduced me to this designer and everything Elizabeth creates is incredible. Think block prints, grass cloth and earthy colors.

Sister Parish:

An iconic American heritage textile and wallcovering brand, Sister Parish offers timeless and effortless designs. Charming prints, like their iconic Serendipity Paper, add an element of polished whimsy to any wall.

Quadrille:

We have theirArbre De Matisse Reverse in a gorgeous French blue in our dining room and it is one of my favorite details in our home. Quadrille offers a vast number of designs in multiple colors, and there is truly something for everyone.

Lisa Fine:

The prettiest florals, Lisa Fine’s wallcoverings are influenced by her worldly travels and experiences. She also designs handprinted linens (even performance!) and has a fabulous book.

Schumacher:

One of the most celebrated design companies in America, Schumacher’s wallpaper and fabrics are as timeless as they are stylish. Impeccable quality and a broad range of patterns and colors make this company trusted and true.
