What better way to celebrate a special occasion, welcome the weekend (or even just add a little effervescence to a Monday night) than a cheers with elegant glassware! Whether you love a refreshing paloma or sparkling water with a twist of lime, a pretty glass makes it that much more festive.
When we traveled to Italy two summers ago, we came home with our most cherished souvenir – hand blown Murano glass tumblers. We had journeyed there for a wedding, and knew we wanted to do a bit of touring before the festivities began. That sunny Friday morning, we took a quick boat ride within the picturesque lagoon of Venice and found ourselves in the heart of a family-owned glass blowing factory. Captivated by their craft, we intently watched skilled artisans create glass masterpieces, swirling cobalt blue, emerald green and rich orange glass together to create works of art. A truly incredible experience and one that we think of every time we use our tumblers!
While our Murano glasses are the most special in our bar and saved for celebrations, I would love to expand our collection of glassware. Perhaps adding a set that is green, multicolored, or even clear glass with floral detailing. Here are a few that I have my eye on, and thought would inspire you too. Cheers!
